Shirley Ann Slaughter Coulter, 82, of Macon, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Hart’s Mortuary, Cherry Street, with the Reverend Loretta Faulk officiating. The family will greet friends on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, from 6 PM to 8 PM at Hart’s Mortuary.

Mrs. Coulter is predeceased by, her husband, Leonard Coulter, Sr.; father, Charles Slaughter; mother, Bessie Carbine Slaughter; great-grandchild, Jason Smith; and great-great-grandchild, Bentlee Nunez.

Mrs. Coulter loved her family and will be greatly missed by, her sons, Leonard Coulter, Jr. and William Coulter; daughters, Linda (Samuel) Ellison and Tammy (Dewey) Godwin; grandchildren, Amy (Sam) McKee, Travis Ellison, Brandi (Joey) Betancourt, and Courtney Mae Coulter; great-grandchildren, Erik McKee and Morghan (Alfy) Nunez; her great-great-grandchildren, Aubrey McKee and Haven McKee; brother, Louie Slaughter; sisters, Mary Simmons, Peggy Mander, and Delores Coulter.
