Shirley Dianne Pyrz, 66, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2014. A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola. 6324 Peake Road, with the Reverend Danny Lyles officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service at the Cupola. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Macon, Georgia 31201. Mrs. Pyrz was retired from Ford Motor Company. She was predeceased by her father, Ottis E. Purser and Mother, Nora L. Horton Purser; sister, Artha Whitehead; brothers, Jim, James and Bobby Purser. Survivors include her husband of 48 years Andrew "Butch" Pyrz, Jr. of Macon; daughter, Jennifer Bryant (Bill) of Moncks Corner, SC; grandchildren, Kasey Purvis of Moncks Corner, SC; Joey (Jennifer) and Mitchell Bryant of Macon, GA; great grandchildren, Evan Bryant of Macon, GA; brothers, Ray Purser (Bonnie) of Macon, GA, Marcus Purser (Arlita) of Durham, CA; sister, Martha Smith (Raymond) of Grovetown, GA; sister in law, Carolyn Purser of Macon, GA; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
