Sheila Marie Smith

Sheila Marie Smith, 65, of Macon, GA, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at North Macon Church of Christ.

Full of love and laughter, Sheila was quick-witted and never let the opportunity for a joke or a laugh pass her by. She loved watching and caring for wild birds and was never without a dog by her side. Sheila had a stand-out soprano voice and loved to sing and dance. As a Christian, she instilled a love for the Lord in her family. Sheila was artistic and creative, always working on beautifying the places around her. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Sheila is survived by her husband of 28 years, Don Smith; daughters, Sommer Nixon (Josh), Haley Herrington (Will), and Laurel Eady (Ben); grandchildren: Jade, Connor, and Eva Nixon, Lynwood and Wilson Herrington, and Walter and Emma Eady; parents, Christine and John Tucker; brother, David Tucker (Kelly); sister, Kathy Armstrong (Keith); and three nieces and nephews.
