Sharon Kay Kinnett Hostetter, 82, of Haddock, died Friday, February 11, 2022. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Jeanna Montgomery Cancer Support, 1609 Parker Springs Church Road, McIntyre, GA 31054.
Sharon was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Logan Grant Kinnett and Bessie Moore Kinnett. She played basketball for Arsenal Technical High School in Indiana. She was the widow of Phillip Earl Hostetter, Sr. Sharon worked for State Farm in Indiana and in Georgia; followed by a being a realtor. In her retirement, she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren; she will be missed very much by her family. She was known as an understanding, forgiving and nonjudgmental lady.
Sharon is survived by her four children, Denise Osborn of Gray, Phillip Hostetter, Jr. of Milledgeville, James Hostetter of Milledgeville, and Marlena Waddell (Al) of Gray; seven grandchildren, kristina Wasiuri (Doug), Jessica Osborn, Logan Bourbannais (Clarissa), Dustin Hostetter, Grayson Waddell, Brody Waddell, and Leah Wooten (Chase); nine great grandchildren; and her sister, Patricia Treanor of North Carolina. She was predeceased by her daughter, Tammie Stewart.
Hart’s Jones County Chapel, Hart's Mortuary and Cremation Center, 307 Pecan Lane, Gray, GA 31032 has charge of the arrangements.
