Shannon Honeycutt

Shannon Honeycutt, 53, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017. Services will be held Friday, June 2, 2017 at 2:00pm at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, Macon, Georgia with Dr. Charles Michael Blizzard officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Cornerstone at the Cupola Baptist Church, P.O. Box 26489, Macon, GA 31221. Ms. Honeycutt had many God given talents. Not only was she artistic, she could sing, play guitar and had the greatest capacity to love people. She was a good daughter, sister and loved by many. She was baptized at Tabernacle Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Southwest High School then attended Central Georgia Technical College where she studied to become a hairdresser and medical assistant. She was a supervisor at G.E. Capital where she was awarded Employee of the Year. She was also a hairdresser at Forester Family Hair Care. She is predeceased by her father, Walter E. Honeycutt, Jr.; sister, Yalinda Shepard; and brother, Walter Honeycutt, III. Ms. Honeycutt is survived by her mother, Laura Honeycutt; brother, Malcolm Honeycutt; two nephews; six nieces; and brother-in-law, Bruce Shepard (Lisa). Register online at www.hartsmort.com.
