Sarah Fleming Scott

Sarah Fleming Scott, of Tifton, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023.

Sally was loving and kind, and generous in all ways.  She had a talent for all things beautiful and shared her gifts with the world. She was the heart of her family and will be profoundly missed. Sally was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Tifton, and is survived by her husband of 70 years, William Winfield Scott (Bill), three daughters: Nancy Baldwin (Chuck) of Tifton, GA, Helen Correll (Ben) of Spartanburg, SC, Madeline Thompson (Jeff) of Forsyth, GA, five grandchildren: Scott Correll of Charlotte, NC, Madeline Jarnagan (Jake) of Valdosta, GA, Harry Correll of Spartanburg, SC, Charlie Baldwin (Christina) of Nashville, TN, and Will Thompson of Forsyth, GA, and four great grandchildren: Ellie of Valdosta, GA, Ford of Valdosta, GA, Sarah Baldwin of Nashville, TN, and Margaret Baldwin of Nashville, TN. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, February 9, 2023, at First Presbyterian Church of Tifton, with the Reverend Hugh Ward officiating.  The family will greet friends following the service at her home.  Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery in Jacksonville, Florida at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association at P.O.
