Sarah A. Roy

Sarah A. Roy, 87, died Sunday, February 12, 2012. A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, February 18, 2012 in the chapel of Hart's at the Cupola with Sonny Seneker officiating. Family will greet friends at the residence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, Georgia 31210.

Mrs. Roy was born in Scotland and moved to the United States in 1952. She traveled the world and visited 43 countries. She enjoys knitting and ballroom dancing.

She was preceded in death by her husband and son. Mrs. Roy is survived by her loving daughter, May and son-in-law Jim Davis; brothers, Edward Armstrong, Joe Armstrong and John Armstrong; nephews, David Roy and John Roy; nieces, Marion Amick , Eileen Clarke, Ella Kaulback, Bridget Pettingill, Maria Wallace, and Deb Lawrence; as well as grand nieces and nephews, many friends, and her "wee dog", Cricket.
