Milledgeville, GA- Sarah Lillian Franks, 82, of Milledgeville, Georgia died Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Services will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2011 at 2:00PM at Wimbish Road Seventh Day Adventist Church. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park. The family will greet friends on Sunday from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at the church. The family may be contacted at 2627 Minuette Court, the residence of Wesley Mosely. Mrs. Franks was the wife of the late William Baxter Franks and the daughter of the late Jake and Verlie Brookins. She was predeceased by her son, Donny Mosley, and her brothers and sister, Harry Brookins, Edward Brookins, Doyle Brookins and Johnnie Crooms. Mrs. Franks was a member of Wimbish Road Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was a devoted Sabbath School teacher to cradle roll and kindergarten age children at Wimbish Road Seventh Day Adventist Church and she was an earthly angel to the mentally challenged at Milledgeville State Hospital. Mrs. Franks worked for twenty-three years at Georgia State Hospital, Milledgeville, Georgia. Mrs. Franks is survived by her sons, Wesley Mosley (Linda) of Macon and Richard Mosley (Brenda) of Fayetteville, Georgia; grandchildren, Ricky Mosley (Kelly) of Cummings, Kevin Mosley (Leslie) of Dallas, Texas, and Eric Mosley (Stephanie) of Smyrna, Georgia; great-grandchildren, Ashley Mosley, Patrick Mosley, Lindsey Mosley and Ava Mosley; brothers, Donald Brookins of Florence, South Carolina, Jimmie Lee Brookins (Glenda) of New Braunfels, Texas and Gene Brookins (Cathy) of Macon.
