Sara Rodgers

Macon- Sara Wellons Rodgers passed away Saturday, February 21, 2009. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 23, 2009 at 2:00 PM in Macon Memorial Park. The family may be contacted at the home of her son Jim Rodgers at 1193 Pea Ridge Road, Juliette, GA. Ms. Rodgers was retired from the Macon Telegraph where she served as the Classified Advertising Supervisor for 35 years. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Webb; Grandson, Andy Smith, Granddaughter Sandy Sears, and Grandson Trey Topping. Survivors: Son, Jim Rodgers (Diana) of Bolingbroke; Granddaughter, Brandy Duvernet (John) of Denver, Colorado and four great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the caring Staff of Bolingreen Nursing Center and Presbyterian Village for the care and concern of Ms. Rodgers. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Hart's Mortuary and Crematory, Cherry Street, has charge of arrangements.
