Sara Alice Forehand

Sara Alice Forehand, 87, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, in the Chapel of Hart’s at the Cupola, with the Reverend Russ Criswell officiating.

Sara was born on October 17, 1938, in Sardis, Georgia, to the late Crawford Leonard Lovett Sr. and Mell Eva Holland Lovett. She was a former member of Cross Keys Methodist Church. She spent many years working as an accountant for Peach State Chemical and later enjoyed serving as a door greeter at Bass Pro, where she was known for her warm smile and friendly presence. She will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Sara will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Vicki Mills (Rocky) of Macon; sons, Dwayne Forehand (Karla Campbell) of Macon and Keith Forehand; five grandchildren: Chris Mills, Rachel Forehand (Daniel Murdock), Katie Steed (Austin), Kelly Thompson (Jamie), and Kayla Forehand (Lloyd Bishop); six great grandchildren: Caleb Thompson, Luke Thompson, Karli Wilson, Jaxon Wilson, Austin Steed, and Kolton Steed; and brother, Crawford Lovett, Jr. (Linda Clark).

In addition to her parents, Sara was preceded in death by her former husband, Doye Forehand; sister-in-law, Yvonne Lovett; and daughter-in-law, Kim Forehand.
