Sara Vaughn Alexander

Sara Vaughn Alexander, age 88, died Saturday, December 12, 2015. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Riverside Cemetery, with the Reverend John Kinser officiating. The family will greet friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Monday at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road. Memorial donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 682 Mulberry Street, Macon, Georgia 31201. Mrs. Alexander was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She worked for Robins Air Force Base for 33 years, retiring as a contract officer. She especially enjoyed spending time with her 6 grandchildren. Mrs. Alexander was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Reeves Alexander, Sr., and her daughter-in-law, Patti Belflower Alexander. Mrs. Alexander is survived by her daughter, Julie Alexander Landino (David) of Lizella; son, Joseph Reeves Alexander, Jr. of Warner Robins; son, Dennis Alexander (Rhonda) of Asheville, North Carolina; daughter, Amy Alexander Lucas (Ken) of Cumming, Georgia; grandchildren: Joseph "Tripp" Alexander III (Ashley), Kaylee Ann Alexander, Maggie Elizabeth Alexander, Rebecca Laine Alexander, Alexander Lucas, and Harrison Lucas; sister-in-law, Pat Vaughn of Macon, and several nieces and nephews.
