Sandra Johnson Thompson

Sandra Johnson Thompson passed away on August 29, 2018 surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 31, 2018 at 1:00PM at Hart’s Mortuary, Jones County Chapel with Robby Kerr officiating. Interment will follow the service at Elam Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends at Hart’s, Jones County Chapel on Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 6:00PM-8:00PM.

Sandra was born in Baxley, Georgia and was formerly from Eastman. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Eastman and was retired from Colony Bank in Eastman. Sandra was married for 54 years to Roger Thompson and she loved her grandboys. She also enjoyed crocheting, cake decorating, and crafts. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Annie Murlean Johnson.

Left to cherish Sandra’s memory is her husband, Roger Thompson of Gray; son, Michael Thompson (Penny Meredith) of Byron; daughter, Amy Peacock (Heath) of Gray; grandchildren: Lance Peacock of Gray, Michael Dale Thompson of Eastman, and Jackson Peacock of Gray; two brothers, Bobby Floyd Johnson (Martha) and Larry James Johnson (Frankie); sister, Linda McWilliams (Milam); and brother-in-law, Richard Thompson (Polly-Ann).
