Sandra Kay Fletcher

Sandra Kay Fletcher, 68, of Haddock, GA, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021, after a brief illness. A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. at Gray-8-Skate in Gray.  The family will enjoy fellowship with friends following the service.

Daughter of the late J.T.  and Hazel Morgan Green, Sandra was born in Ocilla, Georgia, where she lived and raised her son before moving to Gray. After moving, she worked many years at Old Clinton Gas, where she built many long-lasting friendships with her customers and coworkers, especially the “coffee club”. She was a loving companion, mother, and aunt.  Sandra was preceded in death by her brother, Hugh Green; sister, Carolyn Green Shepherd; niece, Michelle Shepherd; and her beloved fur baby, Zoey.

Sandra is survived by her son, David Fletcher of Milledgeville; her life partner, Steve Bridgeman of Haddock; her sister, Patsy Colvin of Gray; nephews, Kenny Shepherd (Pam), Bobby Shepherd, Matthew Wingo of Macon, Robbie Colvin of Gray; niece, Tammy Wells (Ken) of Milledgeville; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Hart’s Jones County Chapel, Hart’s Mortuary and Crematory Center, 307 Pecan Lane, Gray, GA 31032 has charge of the arrangements.
