Sandra Cameron Brown

After a brief illness, Sandra Cameron Brown passed away in the comfort of her home on Tuesday, October 27, 2026. A celebration of her life will be held Sunday, November 8, 2026 with visitation at 2pm and services at 3pm at Highland Hills Baptist Church, 1370 Briarcliff Road. Family requests to wear yellow as this was her favorite color and dress casual.

Sandra graduated Dublin High School.1962. Attended Mercer University and graduated Macon Hospital School of Nursing in 1965. She was a registered nurse for 38 years and retired from Coliseum Hospital in 2003. Sandra was a very sweet, kind, and caring person exhibited thru her nursing career and personal life. Several activities she enjoyed were traveling, camping, gardening, photography, and birdwatching. Sandra loved her family more than anything. They brought her great joy and pride. In turn, her family loved her very much and created memories through her energetic personality as she never stopped, the cookies she baked, and camping in the RV.

Sandra is survived by her husband of 59 years Larry Brown, children Cliff (Rebecca) and Barbara, sister-in-law Nancy, nephew Bill, grandchildren Darrin, Trent (Julia), Cameron, Courtney (Wesley), and Chloe.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Georgia Hospice Care for their compassionate care provided in her final days and appreciative of the care received on 3rd floor of Piedmont Macon North during her stay.
