Samuel "Sam" Smith

Samuel (Sam) Smith was born in 1937 on April 1st in Broxton, Georgia. He was a proud alumnus of Georgia State University, veteran of the Coast Guard, and sharp businessman which took him on many adventures that he loved to recount to his family. 

Sam was a loving husband to Corrine, his wife of sixty-four years, and father to his sons. He loved golf, studying American history, and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be well-remembered as an intelligent soul.

 Sam passed away on March 11th, 2026, surrounded by family. Sam is survived by his wife, Corrine, and his sons, Shea (Amanda) and Clay (Tara) and granddaughters; Kaitlyn, Abby, and Ella. The family will have a private memorial.
