Samuel William Linebaugh, III, 75, passed away Monday, October 24, 2016. Memorial services will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, October 29, 2016 in the chapel of Hart’s at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, with the Reverend Phil Anderson officiating. Family will greet friends following the service at the Cupola. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Marfan Syndrome Foundation at marfan.org. Mr. Linebaugh was the son of the late Howard McAllister and Chloe Elizabeth Wray Linebaugh. He was also predeceased by his son, Todd Linebaugh. Mr. Linebaugh served our country in the United States Marine Corp. A few of the things my Dad taught or told me: How to cut firewood; How to hunt quail; How to fish crappie; How to throw a fastball; How to say "that's not the right way to do it" an then do it the right way; Open the door for your girl; Believe in something bigger than you and appreciate it; Give someone the benefit of the doubt; Know that being smarter is not being better; Laughing at yourself; Telling a long story that everyone's heard, but wants to hear again; Making amends; Parking behind a car in the handicap spot because they don't have a tag; Having the grace to say you lost; and Saying I Love You to you're son/ daughter/ wife/ husband/ every chance you get...
