Sammy Lamar Spires

Sammy Lamar Spires, 77, of Macon, GA, passed away Monday, December 12, 2022.  Inurnment will be Saturday, January 7, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park.

Son of the late, Alexander and Louise Gilbert Spires, Sammy was born in Macon, Georgia.

In addition to his parents, Sammy was preceded in death by his siblings, Julia Swann, William Spires, Becky Spires, and Donald Spires, Elizabeth Spires, Horace Spires, and Hugh Spires.

Sammy is survived by his partner, Randy Flournoy of Macon; brother, Ronnie Spires (Ann) of Macon; special niece, Ann Thompson of Macon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
