Sam Mcwilliams

Sam McWilliams, 50, of Macon, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2024. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Hart’s at the Cupola, with Reverend Mark Ballard officiating. Burial will be private at Riverside Cemetery.

Sam was born in Macon on April 10, 1974. He spent the majority of his career in the automobile industry where his dedication and expertise earned him respect and admiration from his colleagues. His passion extended beyond his work, as he was also an avid hunter and fisherman, loving every moment he could spend outdoors.

Sam will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Brayleigh McWilliams; mother, Carolyn McWilliams of Macon; sister, Tracy Shaw (John) of Hoschton, Georgia; nephew, Tad Newman (Logan); niece, Olivia Shaw; and great nephew, Nash.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Preston “Bobby” McWilliams; and sister, Julie Rowell.
