Sallie Stripling Fountain

Macon- Sallie Stripling Fountain, 98, of 345 Old Griswoldville Road, died Wednesday, December 10, 2008. Services will be held Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary with the Reverend Ron Watson officiating. Burial will be at Henderson-Stripling Cemetery. The family may be contacted at 549 Highway 57 and will greet friends at Hart's Mortuary on Friday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM. Mrs. Fountain was the oldest living member of Morningside Baptist Church. She loved quilting and fishing. Mrs. Fountain is survived by her son, Robert C. Stripling; daughters, Martha Ann Fordham (Zennes) and Juanita Rose McMillan (Bob); nine grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; cousin, Verna Mae Blankenship.
