Ruth Marlowe Bridges

Ruth M. Bridges, 88, of Macon, Georgia, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at 11:30 AM at St. Francis Episcopal Church. Internment will follow at the Memorial Garden of St. Francis Church immediately following the service. Reverend Bryan Hinson and Reverend Ben Wells will officiate. A visitation will be held in the Parish Hall of St. Francis Episcopal Church immediately following the interment. Born in West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Virgil Lester and Ruebey Marlowe. She was a member of St. Francis Episcopal Church and was a devoted wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce L. Bridges, her sister, Margaret Pierce, her brother, Bill Marlowe and her grandson, Peter Bridges. She is survived by her daughter Valerie Misch (Phillip) of Macon, son Kevin Bridges (Deidre) of Macon, and daughter Lisa Leskosky (Tony) of Paducah, KY. Grandchildren Lindsay Crisp (Trey) of Macon, Carlie Martin (Anders) of Savannah, Kyle Bridges (Allison) of Atlanta, Whitney Misch of Athens, Zachary Leskosky (Mary) of Washington, DC, Samuel Leskosky (Ashley) of Paducah, KY, Craig Bridges (Neely) of Smyrna, Hannah Leskosky of Washington, DC, and Erin Bier (Nathaniel) of Fayetteville, NC.
