Russell Benton Jacobs "Russ", 36, died Tuesday, May 7, 2013. A memorial service and a celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 11:00AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Allan McDonald officiating. The family will greet friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Grace Scholarship Fund, Mount de Sales Academy, 851 Orange Street, Macon, Georgia 31201. Russ was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the 1995 graduating class at Mount de Sales Academy. He was a native of Commerce, Georgia. Russ is survived by his wife, Erin Wood Jacobs; children, Gage, Brianna and Aspen Grace; parents, Gene and Michelle Jacobs; siblings, Kelly Allgood (Jeff) and Ben Jacobs (Karly); nieces and nephews, Web, Trevor, Brady and Ava Allgood and Riley and Kaleb Jacobs; grandmother, Jeanette Jacobs; extended family and friends.
