Russell C. Fellows

Russell Coleman Fellows, 84, of Macon, went to Heaven on Tuesday, September 27, 2022. His wife of 62 years, Patsy Patterson Fellows was by his side as he crossed to glory.  His celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 3, 2022, at Ingleside Baptist Church. The family will greet friends one hour prior in the Fellowship Hall. Burial will follow the service at Macon Memorial Park.

Russell was predeceased by his parents, R.C. and Myrtis Fellows; and siblings, Maudie Lou Strozier, Gary Fellows, and Dean Fellows.

He is survived by his brothers-in-law, Alex Strozier, Milton Myers, and Pat Patterson; sisters-in-law, Jackie Fellows, Judy Fellows, and Brenda Davis (Phillip); nieces and nephews, Dr. Melton Strozier (Paula), Anita Vause (Dave), Nancy Kite (Walter), Rev. Paul Strozier (Mariann), Gary Fellows Jr., Gregg Fellows (Sue), Debra Carter (Scott), Carol Ann Thomas (Tim), Kathy Baugh (Tom), Pam Meharg (Gary), Brad Beasley (April), Donna Blizzard (Randy), Mitzi Heath (Tony), Shannon Pendergast (Ryan), Tracey Patterson (Destinee); and many great nieces and nephews.

At eight years old, Russell started working at Scott’s Super Market.  He was president of Handy Andy Convenience Stores and later CEO of Munford, Inc. Russell was owner of U-Park’em, U-Sell’em.  His favorite leisure times was to work.

Russell previously was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and currently Ingleside Baptist Church.  He was a man of integrity, highly respected, and loved the Lord and his family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Russell’s memory to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, GA 31210.
