Rufus D. Faulk

Rufus D. Faulk, 69, of Macon, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Faith Baptist Church, 4704 Jeffersonville Road in Macon, with Timothy Peavy officiating.  The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow the service at Baptist Gospel Mission Church Cemetery with Military Honors.

Rufus was born in Macon, Georgia on May 21, 1952.  He proudly served his county in the United States Army as an infantry indirect fire crewman.  He retired from Autobahn. He enjoyed bicycling and working with disabled adults.  He loved his grandchildren and special son-in-law.

Rufus is survived by his wife, Sheila Stokes Faulk; son-in-law, Jason Burch, Sr.; grandsons, Jason Burch, Jr. and Charlie Burch; brother, David Faulk; sister, Lisa Faulk Mosley (Ricky); and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Howard Faulk, Sr."Big Daddy" and Josephine Wilkinson Faulk "Big Mama"; brother, William Howard Faulk, Jr.; sister, Beverly Faulk Reece; grandmother, Annie Tindall Wilkinson; son, Donald Clayton Faulk; daughter, Stephanie Faulk Burch; mother-in-law, Imogene Green Stokes; and father-in-law, Joseph Harold Stokes.

The family will also be receiving family and friends at 3829 Riggins Mill Road, Macon, Georgia 31217.
