Rueline Savage Helms

Rueline Savage Helms, 85, of Macon, passed away September 18, 2018. A graveside service will be held Friday, September 21, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Hart’s at the Cupola.

Mrs. Helms and her husband moved from Alabama to Georgia in 1958 and lived in Groveland Park until 2006. She lived at Cherry Blossom Health and Rehabilitation for the last 12 years of her life. She was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church in Macon. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. Mrs. Helms is predeceased by her husband, James Albert Helms; daughter, Nancy Helms; son, Ingram Helms; and parents, Ruel Savage and Flossie Green.

Mrs. Helms is survived by her daughter, Wanda Ryals (Tony); 4 grandsons; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Peggy Bisbee of Pensacola, Florida and Linda Johnson (Bobby Joe) of Babbie, Alabama; and brother, David Savage (Gail) of Auburn, Alabama.
