Macon- Ruby T. Ball, 87, originally of Dry Branch, GA, and a resident of 2324 Vacation Drive for more than fifty years, died Thursday, April 16, 2009. Services will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park. The family may be contacted at the residence and will greet friends on Friday from 7:00PM until 9:00PM at Hart's Mortuary. Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P. O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312, American Heart Association, 3312 Northside Drive, 140 A, Macon, GA 31210, or to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 4406, Macon, GA 31208. Mrs. Ball, wife of the late William Joseph Ball, Sr., was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She loved to cook for her family and friends and was retired from Robins Air Force Base. Mrs. Ball is survived by her son, William Joseph Ball, Jr. (Ponda) of Dry Branch; daughter, Bonita B. Fisher (Toney) of Macon; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews.
