Roy Edward Koch, Sr.

Roy Edward Koch, Sr., 78, of Macon, Georgia, said goodbye to his family and friends on February 6, 2023.  A service to celebrate his life will be Friday, February 10, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Hart’s Mortuary on Cherry Street, with the Reverend Lee Sheppard officiating.  Interment will follow at Macon Memorial Park.  The family will greet friends on Thursday evening, February 9, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hart’s on Cherry Street.

Mr. Roy was a proud United States Air Force Veteran.  He loved his family and was a God-fearing man, and he would do anything for his family and his faith.  He was a member of Mable White Baptist Church and a member of the Day Spring Sunday School Class.  He retired from Riverwood International.  Mr. Roy will be missed dearly.

Mr. Roy is survived by his children, Laurie Hughes (Kiron), Roy Koch, Jr. (Rebecca) and Lisa Hudson (Dean); his grandchildren, Asacia Brooks (Wendell), Justin Hughes, Alivia Johnson, Ashton Landers (Hayley); his great grandchildren, Jacob Brooks, Kayleigh Brooks, Jaxon Brooks, and Jayden Brooks.  He is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Ms. Irene Ann Koch; his parents, Karl E.
