Rose Lee Gaultney

Rose Lee Gaultney, 83, of Gray, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Real Life Church with Pastor Bo Turner and the Reverend Danny Henderson officiating.  The family will greet friends Friday, October 15, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Hart’s Mortuary, Jones County Chapel.  Burial will be held at Cedar Ridge Cemetery.

Daughter of the late Joseph R. and Lessie Viola Clements Overstreet, Mrs. Gaultney operated the concession stand at the Federal Building on Mulberry Street for the Georgia Co-op for the Blind.  She was a member of the Georgia Council for the Blind and Real Life Church.  Mrs. Gaultney was preceded in death by her husband, Walker Fred Gaultney, Jr. and son, Walker Eugene Gaultney.

Mrs. Gaultney is survived by her children, Kathy Denene Marsh of Jones County, and David Leo Gaultney (Pamela Chambless) of Gordon, Georgia; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Renee Gaultney of Jones County; grandchildren, Tracy Hutto (Tony), Joshua Marsh, Stacy Finney, Lacy Marsh, Sonny Gaultney, Aaron Gaultney, Ryan Gaultney (Chrissy), Brandon Pippin (Amanda), Katie Chambless, Cassie Chambless, and Trenton Chambless; stepchildren, Brenda Phillips (Ricky), Skip Gaultney (Lisa), and Debra Evans; and many great grandchildren.
