Rosalyn Raines

Rosalyn Raines, 65, of Macon, passed away September 18, 2018. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Hart’s at the Cupola. The Reverend Joe McDaniel will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Friday, September 21, 2018 at Hart’s at the Cupola. Interment will be at Macon Memorial Park. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, GA 31210, however, flowers are also welcome.

Mrs. Raines was the daughter of the late Ned Carpenter and Lucille Williams Carpenter. In June of 1975, she married Don Raines. She graduated from Macon College with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. Mrs. Raines is predeceased by her sister, Norma McEachern and step-father, Marion Sutton.

Mrs. Raines is survived by her husband of 45 years, Don Raines of Macon; sisters, Vivian Hill (Alton) of Tennessee and Elaine Jones (Larry) of Macon; 4 canine kids, Mr. Buster, Lucy, Cricket, and Girl; and several nieces and nephews.
