Rosa Nell Treadwell Willey, 89, went home to be with the Lord on August 28, 2011. Funeral services will be held at Stone Creek Baptist Church in Dry Branch, Georgia on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 2:00 pm with burial in the church cemetery. Dr. Donnie Sutton will officiate. The family will greet friends one hour before the service in the Stone Creek Baptist Fellowship Hall. Mrs. Willey was born in Dry Branch, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Forrest H. and Minnie Bell Herring Treadwell. She was a member of Stone Creek Baptist Church. She was the widow of George E. Willey. Mrs. Willey is predeceased by brothers, William Albert Treadwell and Hardy Wilson Treadwell; sister, Ellen Treadwell Reeves; and nephew, Forrest Michael Treadwell. Mrs. Willey is survived by her son, Guy Bridges (Wanda) of Macon; grandchildren, Craig Bridges (Eyvone) of Eatonton, Jennifer Bridges Bennefield of Eatonton, four step-grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren; nieces, Donna Reeves Washburn(Dale), Karen Reeves Gilchrist(Paul) and Vickie Treadwell Gabrik; and nephew Danny Treadwell. Mrs. Willey was a homemaker and was a retired House Mother at the Youth Development Center on Riggins Mill Road. Her memory will be treasured by her family, friends and all those who were touched by her life. Though petite in stature, her heart was huge as was shown by the many lives she touched.
