Bonaire- Rosa Velez de Sanchez, 84, of 105 Brigantine Court, died Tuesday, December 16, 2008. Services will be held Friday, December 19, 2008 at 3:00PM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street with Father Justin Ferguson and Father Allan McDonald officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. A rosary will be said on Thursday at 7:00PM at Hart's Mortuary. The family may be contacted at the residence. Born in Puerto Rico, Mrs. Sanchez lived throughout Georgia for most of her life. She was predeceased by her son, Angel Sanchez, Jr. Mrs. Sanchez is survived by her husband, Angel M. Sanchez of Bonaire; son, Marc A. Sanchez of Bonaire; daughters, Liz Farrow of Warner Robins, Maggy Calhoun of Lilburn and Cathy Genty of Roswell; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Che Velez of Syracuse, New York; sister, Carmen Sanchez of Puerto Rico.
