Ronnie Thrift

Ronnie Thrift, 42, passed away on Monday, August 4, 2014. Memorial services will be held at 7:00PM on Friday, August 8, 2014 at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, with Celebrant Sonny Seneker officiating. A reception will follow the service. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Georgia Sea Turtle Center, 214 Stable Road, Jekyll Island, Georgia 31527. Mr. Thrift was a co-manager for Kroger in the middle Georgia area. He was active in Dachshund Rescue, Sea Turtle Conservatories, and children's charities. He was also an active runner and active volunteer of the Museum of Aviation. Mr. Thrift is survived by his partner of nine years, Jeff Smith of Macon; parents, Ida Thrift and Harold Hodge of Kingsland, Georgia; close family, Debbie and Terry Ohmes of Cimarron, Kansas; and dear friends, Dustin and Stacey Wood of Macon.
