Mr. Ronnie Mitchell Faulk died on October 2, 2018. “Mitch” was born in Dublin , Georgia to William Ronald Faulk and Joyce Shirey Faulk Diehl. He is survived by his mother Joyce Diehl (Jere) and his sister, Martha Jane Faulk Hardee. Mitch was graduate of Dublin High School. He attended Georgia State University in Atlanta, the Guitar Institute of Technology in Holly wood, CA. (graduating with high honors), and the Berkley School of Music in Boston Mass. His lifelong love of music began in high school playing guitar with the band, Rook, at the Shanty.

Mitch was a professional musician working throughout the Southeast, the Mid-Atlantic, and Midwestern States. He was most often lead guitarist, but equally played bass and organ. He worked with numerous professional bands before developing his own band, CISCO. He was particularly proud of occasions when his band was the opening act for artists like Ike and Tina Turner and later for the Platters. He also played with Capricorn Recording artist Johnny Jenkins and the Pinetoppers.

Mitch was devoted to his Family, both immediate and extended. In the past 15 years, he became an avid researcher into the ancestry and DNA of his family. Mitch was baptized at the age of 9 and was a lifelong follower of Christ.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 2:00PM at Vineville Baptist Church with Dr. William L. Hardee officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at 1:00PM. Interment will be at 4:00PM at Dublin Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vineville Baptist Church, 2591 Vineville Avenue, Macon, GA 31204.
