Darrell, affectionately known as “D” to friends and family who loved him most, passed away after a lengthy illness. A graveside service will be held at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Reverend Darrell Burns will officiate.
Son of the late C. C. Cameron, Jr. and Dallastine Gay Cameron was born December 28, 1949, in Ocilla, Irwin County, Georgia. Darrell was preceded in death by his only sibling, Deborah Cameron Crumbley. At the age of 6, his family moved to South Macon, GA. He was a 1968 graduate of Willingham-McEvoy High and always made a point to keep in touch with his friends from this time.

He will be missed by those left to cherish his memory. His survivors include his wife of more than 30 years, Ann Cameron; daughters, Christy (Rob) and Ashley; son, Chad (Davida); stepdaughter, Andrea (Howell); stepson, Clint (Meigan); grandchildren, Hannah (Marcus); Sara (John); Mahalie; Caleb; Chase (Chloe); Nora; Julia; Marshall; and great-grandchildren, Cooper and Jackson.

There are places I’m remembered
All my life, though many have changed
Some forever, not for worse or better
Some have gone and some remain
All these times and places had their moments
With loved ones and friends, I still can recall
Some are gone and some are living
In my life, I've loved you all!
