Roderick Ronald Willingham

Roderick Ronald Willingham, 72, of Macon, passed away peacefully Monday, January 14, 2019. Burial service will be private at Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta, Georgia. Rory was born in Purley, Surrey, England on April 14, 1946 to the late George Walter and Kathleen Easton Willingham of Atlanta. A gifted student, Rory spent three years of high school at Ecole Nouvelle in Lausanne, Switzerland, in a program of immersive study of western European languages and cultures. After returning to Atlanta, he graduated from Druid Hills High School. He went on to graduate from Georgia State University, where he majored in French and Cultural Anthropology. Due to the early onset of Parkinson Disease, he retired early from the Georgia Department of Adult Probation and as an interpreter for multiple government agencies.

Rory is survived by his brother, Barry Eugene (Leslie) Willingham of Macon.
