Robert Yaughn

Macon- Robert C. Yaughn, 69, of 129 Avalon Road, died Tuesday, September 30, 2008. Services will be held Friday, October 3, 2008 at 2:00PM at Henderson Road Baptist Church with the Reverends Wayne Pritchard and Gene McKinney officiating. Burial will be in Middle Georgia Memory Gardens. The family may be contacted at the residence and will greet friends on Thursday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Hart's Mortuary. Mr. Yaughn attended Henderson Road Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and the United States Army. Mr. Yaughn was predeceased by his parents, Robert P. Yaughn and Annie McKinney Yaughn, a brother and sister, James Yaughn and Callie Yaughn, and a son, Lester Dewayne Yaughn. Mr. Yaughn is survived by his wife, Charlotte A. Yaughn of Jones County; children, Theresa Irby (Mark), Sonya Robinson (Joe) and Robert K. Yaughn, all of Jones County; grandchildren, Stacie Elsey (Randy), Tori Irby, Hailey Robinson, Kayla Robinson and Dylan Yaughn; great-grandchildren, Nathan Elsey and Trenton Elsey; brother, Ruben Yaughn of Lizella; sisters, Eloise Elliott of Macon and Jeannie Stripling of Jones County.
