Robert Henry "Yank" Russell

Robert Henry "Yank" Russell, of Macon, passed away Friday, March 29, 2013. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at 11AM, at Swift Creek United Methodist Church with the Reverend Leland Collins officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to Swift Creek United Methodist Church. Mr. Russell was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served during the Korean Conflict and was retired from Keebler after 30 years of service. He loved his family and adored his grandchildren, spending time at the gulf coast and was an avid fisherman. Mr. Russell was preceded in death by brother, Jack Russell, mother, Irene Lopusnak McDonough and his father, John Russell. Survivors: Wife, Patricia Holland Russell, of Macon; Son, Bobby Russell, of Macon; Daughter, Michele Russell (Robby) Collins of Gray; Brother, Dennis (Linda) Russell, of NJ; Brother, Richard (Holly) Russell, of SC; Granddaughter, Macy Collins and grandson, Branson Collins, both of Gray.
