Robert Williams

Macon- Robert Carlton Williams, 80, of 6526 Perkins Drive, died Wednesday, October 8, 2008. Memorial services will be held Monday, October 13, 2008 at 11:00AM at Liberty United Methodist Church. Interment will be at Andersonville National Cemetery on Tuesday at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Shriner's Hospital, Greenville, SC. Mr. Williams was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church. A twenty-four year veteran of the United States Air Force, he served in World War II, the Korean Conflict and the Viet Nam War. Mr. Williams also worked for Macon Janitorial Service for nineteen years. He was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of Scottish Rite and a Past Master of Houston Lodge #35. Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Charlotte Margaret Williams; children, William "Bill" Williams ( Deanne) of Niceville, FL, Carlton N. Williams (Jeneline) of UAE, Elta Churchwell (Rick) of Crawfordville, FL and Dallas W. Williams of Macon; brother, Jordon Lamar Williams of Texas; sister, Sarah Russ of Lakeland, FL; grandchildren, Angie Boutwell, Brandy Churchwell, Wesley Williams and Kera Williams; 2 great-grandchildren.
