Macon- Robert Ray Smith, 79, of 136 Jabrok Circle, died Tuesday, May 18, 2010. Services will be held on Friday, May 21, 2010 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street, with Daniel Smith officiating. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park. The family may be contacted at the residence and will greet friends on Thursday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street. Mr. Smith was a member of Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and was a member of the Homebuilders Sunday School Class. He was a member of the Gideons. Mr. Smith, a veteran of the United States Army, served during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Ann Smith; daughter, Nancy Daniel (Kenneth) of Macon; son, Daniel Smith of Kansas City, Missouri; grandchild, Jason Michael Daniel of Macon and sister-in-law, Myrtle Smith of Rockledge, GA.
