Robert George Pierce Mckinnon

Robert George Pierce McKinnon, 85, of Macon, passed away January 17, 2018. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, P.O. Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA, 01202. Mr. McKinnon was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Korean War. He was the Chief Radio Operator for the State of Florida Highway Patrol. He had a very loving, extended family. He is predeceased by his wife, Dottie McKinnon; parents, James Byron McKinnon and Christine Sirman McKinnon; daughter, Linda DeFreitas; granddaughter, Autumn McKinnon; sister-in-law, JoAnn Perry; and brother-in-law, Jimmy Perry. Mr. McKinnon is survived by his children, Michael McKinnon (Dorine) of Tampa, Florida, Tiffany McKinnon Nier of Macon, and James McKinnon (Angela Burroughs) of Macon; grandchildren, Kenny DeFreitas, Charlotte Rau (Jeremiah), Amber McKinnon Moore (Neal), Daniel Floyd, Hannah Nier, and Bailey McKinnon; great-grandchildren, Macey DeFreitas, Karlee DeFreitas, and Gunner Rau; niece, Lynn Patterson (Steve); great nephew, James Patterson, and great niece, Kristyn Sage (Michael). Hart's at the Cupola has charge of arrangements.
