Robert "Robby" Kirkland Armstrong

Robert “Robby” Kirkland Armstrong, 54, of Gray, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 24, 2021.  A Memorial Service will be Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Hart’s Jones County Chapel with the Reverend John Haney officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior.

Robby was born February 18, 1967 to the late Bobby and Virginia Armstrong. He was born in Macon but lived in Jones County all of his life. Robby is survived by his mother, Virginia Armstrong; children, Bradley Armstrong, Robbie Armstrong (Maddie), and Tyler Armstrong. Carson McMillan, his non-biological son, whom he loved as his own; one sister, Angela Dunlap; ex-wife and best friend, Sherry Lee; nieces and nephews, Joshua Mumford, Dalton Dunlap, Alexis Wilkes, Autumn Dunlap and Hope Dunlap; his beloved dog, Roscoe, and a few chickens that he cared deeply for. Robby was preceded in death by father, Bobby Armstrong; and his grandparents.

Robby was employed with O’Reilly’s Auto Parts in Gray for many years. He loved sports, especially NASCAR, grilling on the weekends, and spending quality time with his family.

Robby was a loving dad, uncle, and brother. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
