Darrin was called home to be with the Lord Saturday, August 10, 2024. He was born in Mobile, Alabama on December 21, 1970, but moved to Gray, Georgia at an early age. He grew up in Gray and graduated from Jones County high school. Afterwards he enlisted into the U.S. Marine Corps where he proudly served six years. He also drove 18-wheel trucks for several years. For the past 15 years he has worked for the Jones County school system as a bus driver and a mechanic. Darrin loved the outdoors, guns, his dogs, cold beer, and talking with people. He was extremely proud of serving his country as a U.S. Marine.

He is survived by his daughter, Andria Childree (Chris); son, Robert Kelley (Ashley); father, Jesse Darryl Tate (Patti); brother, Darryl Alan Tate (Doretha); sister, Christina Munro (Davie); girlfriend, Eva Purslow; nieces, Tiffany Wiley (Marcus) and Georgia Munro; also, several grandchildren.

We thank Darrin for his service. He was a loving man that will be missed by all.
