Robert Batchelor

Macon- Robert Batchelor, 63, of 3508 Jessica Place, died Wednesday, May 11, 2011. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 1:00PM in the Chapel of Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, with the Reverend Jack Gregory officiating. A reception will be held immediately following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Hospice of Central Georgia, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, Georgia 31210.

Mr. Batchelor, son of the late Clyde Aaron Batchelor, graduated from Lanier High School and attended Mercer University. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. Mr. Batchelor loved the outdoors and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was retired from Sam's Club after twenty years of service.

Mr. Batchelor is survived by his daughter, Brandi Ward (Brennan) of Macon; grandchildren, Aron Ward and Graci Ward; mother, Rosa Batchelor of Gray; sisters, Ann Clark of Macon and Deborah Brooks of Warner Robins; several nieces and nephews.
