Robert Henry Bailey

Robert Henry Bailey, of Conyers, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015. Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 27, 2015, at 2PM, in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary on Cherry Street. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Mr. Bailey was a veteran of the United States Army and was a competitive lightweight professional boxer. He was retired from General Motors. Survivors: Son, Robert Dale (Victoria) Bailey of Conyers; Grandchildren, Robin (Tom) Pollard of McDonough, Robert Derek (Rhonda) Bailey of Jenkinsburg, GA and Christopher Keith (Rachel) Bailey of Minot, ND; 11 great grandchildren; Sisters, Jennie (Dudley) McLean of Canton, GA and Sara Hefner of Snellville, GA.
