Robbie Ann Whiddon

Robbie Ann Beck Whiddon, 75, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 9, 2026, in Macon, Georgia where she spent her final days surrounded by her family. Born on July 8, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Annie Mable and Robbie Joe Beck.

She graduated from Jones County High School in 1968. Robbie Ann was Miss Figure 8 of the Figure 8 Raceway in 1968, where she met the love of her life, John Edwin Whiddon. They were married for 57 years. Robbie Ann’s greatest joy in life was her family. She was a proud mother to two daughters: Tara and Tonya, grandmother to three girls, and most recently had become a great grandmother to a precious little boy. She was also a breast cancer survivor of 15 years.

Robbie Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Mable and Robbie Joe Beck, and her daughter, Tara Whiddon Jones. She is survived by her husband, John Edwin Whiddon of Jones County; daughter, Tonya Whiddon Stroman (Jay) of Tampa, Florida; granddaughters, Allie Stroman Campbell (Elisha) of Marietta, Georgia, Holly Stroman Christian (Jared) of Jeffersonville, Georgia, and Megan Summer Jones of Clayton, Georgia; as well as her great grandson, Case Stewart Campbell.

Hart’s Jones County Chapel, Hart's Mortuary and Cremation Center, 307 Pecan Lane, Gray, GA 31032 has charge of the arrangements. Her family will host a time for visitation on Friday, June 12, 2026, beginning at 10:30 AM, at Hart’s Mortuary, Jones County Chapel. A graveside service will follow at Middle Georgia Memory Gardens, beginning at 12:00 PM.
