Rita Mary Heger

Rita Mary LaFave Heger: of Macon, Georgia passed away Sunday, December 19, 2010. Funeral services will be private. Born in Springfield, Mass. She was the daughter of the John and Agnes Duboque Lafave. She was the widow of John Heger. Mrs. Heger was a member of the Mulberry Street United Methodist Church, and the Solomon Fellowship Sunday School Class. She is survived by her son, Harold Downs of Macon; Grandchildren, David Judson Downs of Athens, Ga.; Kimberly Anne Christenbury of Charlotte, North Carolina. Great grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, and Mark Downs; Abigale Anne Christenbury. Sister, Eva Smalling of Long Island, New York. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the Alzheimers Association, Central Georgia Chapter,; Heartland Hospice, or to the Mulberry Street United Methodist Church.
