Rita Morrow Cowart, 58, died on Thursday, July 31, 2014. Villa Rica, Georgia funeral services will be at 2:00PM on Sunday, August 3, 2014 at Fullerville Baptist Church and interment in Melrose Cemetery. A visitation will be between 5:00-7:00PM on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at J. Collins Funeral Home, 206 S. Carroll Road, Villa Rica, Georgia. Macon, Georgia; Memorial services and Celebration of her Life will be at 3:00PM on Monday, August 4, 2014 at Mulberry Street United Methodist Church, 719 Mulberry Street, Macon, Georgia, with The Reverends Deborah Wight-Knight, Tommy Mason and Darris Baker officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Cowart attended Villa Rica High School and was a graduate of Carroll Tech. She was a nurse and worked in business development at Coliseum Medical Center in Macon, Georgia. Mrs. Cowart was selfless and gave to the community. She received the Frist HCA award. Survivors include her husband, Charles Cowart; daughter, Kristen Cowart Lawrence; and parents, Thomas Morrow and Betty Ann Morrow. Register online at www.hartsmort.com.
