Richard "Rick" Winfield White, Jr.

Richard “Rick” Winfield White, Jr., 64, of Macon, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2018 surrounded by his family. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Sunday, July 8, 2018 at Hart’s Mortuary Downtown. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, July 9, 2018 at Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Methodist Children’s Home, P.O. Box 2525, Macon, GA 31204.

Mr. White graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Vanderbilt University and Master of Business Administration from Columbia University. He was one of the founders of Security Bank of Macon, Georgia, as well as, a board member for 28 years. He served as Chairman of Security Bank of Bibb County for 7 years, was a board member of Security Bank Corporation and served on the Executive Committee, Loan committee for 25 years and various other committees with the Holding Company.

Mr. White was the owner/president of White Brothers Auto Supply, Inc. He was a member of the Mulberry Street United Methodist Church and served on the board of trustees. Mr. White was the son of the late Richard Winfield White, Sr. and Mary Bryd White.

Mr. White is survived by his wife of 38 years, Anne Mabbett White of Macon; son, Richard White, III (Liz) of Atlanta; daughter, Mary Rose White of Atlanta; grandchildren, Caroline White and Winn White of Atlanta; and brother, John White (Noreen) of Macon.
