Richard Paul Tyson

Macon- Richard Paul Tyson, 57, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2011 with his family at his side, following a long battle with cancer. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 1:00PM at Strong Tower Fellowship with the Reverend Tom Anderson and the Reverend James Cannon officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the memorial service. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, Georgia 31210. Mr. Tyson was a veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from Robins Air Force Base after thirty-four years of service. He was a loving husband and father. He was an avid gardener, woodworker and loved the outdoors. Mr. Tyson is survived by his wife, Angela Tyson; son, Brendon Tyson; daughter, Danielle Tyson; sisters and brothers, Margaret Tyson, Quitman Tyson (Claudia), Lynn Stewart and Ernest Tyson (Candie); grandchild, Kelsey Tyson.
