Richard "Skeet" L. Ethredge

Richard L. "Skeet" Ethredge, 80, of Macon, passed away March 29, 2018. Services will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, April 2, 2018, at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, Macon, Georgia 31210. Reverends Terry Reynolds and Steve Johnson will be officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00PM - 6:00PM Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Hart's at the Cupola. Burial will be at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Flowers are accepted, or donations may be made to the Al Sihah Transportation Fund, 222 Mecca Drive, Macon GA 31206. Mr. Ethredge enlisted in the United States Army when he was 17 years old to proudly serve his country. He retired as a Master Sergeant in the Georgia Air National Guard, Unit 202. He was a lineman for Georgia Power before going to work at the Base. He retired from Robins Air Force Base as an electronics consultant. Mr. Ethredge was a 50-year member of the Mickey Fuller Masonic Lodge and a Roadrunner for the Al Sihah Shrine. He was also a HAM operator (WB4SBT). He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. Mr. Ethredge was predeceased by a sister, two brothers, and stepdaughter. Mr. Ethredge is survived by his wife, Penny Ethredge of Macon; daughter, Michele Molton (Keith) of Macon; stepsons, Stan Garrett (Renee) of Crawfordville, Florida, and Louis Wright (Denise) of McDonough, Georgia; grandchildren, Jason McDaniel (Jessica) of Gray, Allison Garrett of Crawfordville, Lauren Baker (Justan) of Crawfordville, Candace Molton of Macon and Colleen Molton of Macon; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Harris Ethridge (Vivian) of Jones County; sisters, Patricia Johnson (Carl) of Crawfordville, Mary McDaniel of Gray and Daisy Kitchens of Macon.
