Richard Willson Earl

Macon- Richard Willson Earl, 82, died Sunday, January 2, 2011. Mr. Earl was predeceased by his wife, Madge Earl, on December 27, 2010. He is survived by his daughters, Susan Kerr (Jeff) of Tampa, Florida and Angie Hardison (Steve) of Macon; four grandchildren, Jamie Little, Shelley Moon, Joey Hardison, and Ricky Hardison and five great-grandchildren. A veteran of the United States Marines, Mr. Earl served in Korea. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and the Mabel White Senior Choir and was the founder of the Kitchen Raiders Senior Choir. Mr. Earl was a 33rd degree Mason and an avid poet. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Hart's at the Cupola with the Reverends Ricky Hardison, Joe McDaniel and Dr. David Hunter officiating. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park. The family may be reached at 1119 Craddock Way and will greet friends at Hart's at the Cupola on Tuesday from 5:00PM until 7:00PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Central Georgia, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, Georgia 31210. Register online at www.hartsmort.com.
